Croda Foundation vacancy: Partnerships & Communications Manager

Purpose of the role

The Partnerships & Communications Manager is a senior strategic delivery role that plays a central part in our strategy by:

  • Managing and growing strategic partnerships, including direct ownership of approximately one-third of the Foundation’s grant portfolio, with particular focus on supply chain-linked and strategically significant accounts.
  • Leading the strategic design and delivery of the Foundation’s communications, including internal and external narratives, impact reporting and sustainability reporting alignment.
  • Providing governance, project management and procurement support, including responsibility for major strategic processes such as the Innovation & Pilot Fund.

This role carries direct accountability for partnership development, performance, communications quality and delivery against strategic outcomes, representing a step change for the Foundation.

Who we're looking for

  • Significant experience in partnership development and/or grant management, ideally within international development, education, CSR or philanthropy.
  • Proven experience of strategic project management, managing multiple priorities with high levels of accountability.
  • Demonstrable experience in working in a communications or engagement function delivering to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement communications strategies, including for stakeholder engagement.
  • A track record of building and maintaining cross-sector partnerships (corporate, NGO, education or philanthropic).
  • Advanced experience in strategic writing and editing for board papers, reports, websites, newsletters and social media.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple priorities.

Details

Location: UK - remote

Hours: Full time, fixed-term contract for two years

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
