Objective
To equip 59 Black, Latino, and low-income students aged 12–18 with the skills, support, and access needed to attend top universities and launch into high-earning careers, while also supporting 30 parents with workshops and resources.
The issue
Black, Latino, and low-income students in Delaware face systemic barriers such as under-resourced schools, limited access to advanced coursework, and lack of expert college advising, resulting in lower college enrolment and higher student debt. The project addresses these gaps by providing intensive advising, leadership development, and family engagement to change trajectories and foster economic mobility.
